How did he get there?In 1966, Edgar graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He worked as an Allegheny County public defender before opening his first office in the steel town of Duquesne, PA. Edgar was a criminal trial attorney, making a name for himself with several high-profile cases. During this time, he also began representing accident victims in personal injury cases. In 1982, Edgar Snyder discovered the power of advertising. He has also used the medium of television to air paid public service announcements that discourage drunk driving. Many of the law firm's clients are victims of alcohol-related accidents; therefore, Edgar Snyder & Associates has sponsored a variety of community service projects that spread the message: Don't Drink and Drive.
